AmEx Rose Gold $10 Dining Credit

I didn’t think much of the AmEx $10 dining credit until I was out late at night and had a craving for cheesecake. Luckily I had my Rose Gold AmEx card and we were around The Royal Hawaiian Shopping center where the Cheesecake Factory is.

They had closed at 22:00, but the O-6 select was very convincing to have them accommodate us for a to go order. Each slice came to about $8.90 a piece with tax. I decided to get two slices, but in the future probably only get one slice and tip $1.10:

The cake was yummy, and about 3 days later the charge posted and I was compensated $10 without even asking:

So the $10 dining credit is real, and works without any problems. I plan on using this with Seamless or Grubhub in the future. I also earned 71 points. Please use my link here if you are interested in the new AmEx Rose Gold Card!

I went to shake shake and bought $11 worth of food with my card and a $10 gift card with my wife’s card. Both were reimbursed three days later.

Hello, can you do a quick update on the current cards you have? Also, can you recommend me any international airline card? I will be stationed in Japan. Thank you!

well i will have to do a year end summary in December, too numerous to list here. It has been my suggestion to get multiple amex platinum, get 60k points each then transfer to ANA for cheap domestic flights from Japan!

Hello, do you know if you can buy the Shake Shack, Cheesecake Factory, or Ruth Chris’ Steak House online, and still be credited? It says no gift cards, but don’t know if there is a loophole, like Amex airline incidental fee credit.

RWHR said he bought a gift card, but no specification if it was online or in person.
